I posted a photo of this pincushion in progress back in August. Although it didn't turn out exactly as I envisioned, the message is still great.
This is part of my contribution to the "Finish what you have" challenge. May there be many more.

ReplyDeletethat is so freaking cute! YOu never cease to amaze me you talented woman!
ReplyDeleteI love it! It's so sweet! I like the squareness of it... most are round in some way. The embroidery is such a lovely touch.
ReplyDeleteJoni

ReplyDeleteThis is the loveliest pin cushion I've ever seen and there are some really lovely ones out there. I adore the embroidery and the colors--oh, it's all just so adorable!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that pincushion. How did I miss it in August?
ReplyDeleteSo dainty and pretty. I love the embroidery on it! Great job!
ReplyDeleteThat is THE CUTEST pincushion ever!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt justg gets better and better - you're on a real roll!
ReplyDeleteHey! Are you in Indiana? Is that a pattern from The Back Door? It's SO cute!!!
ReplyDeletegorgeous, anina!
ReplyDeleteDelurking to say that it turned out so cute. And, I really love your take-two-sheets-and-make-a-duvet-cover idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful pincushion! Absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou are so amazingly talented...I love your pin cushion...I don't know how you wanted it to turn out...but I think its perfect...I collect pin cushions...and I have never seen a square one...so I especially loved this one....Also, I think your duvet turned out marvelous...and I'm sure you will come up with something equally as gorgeous and clever to impede the growth of cat hair on it! I have dogs...I know your pain!
ReplyDeleteAgain, I'm not a knitter...but I do love the sweater you made...I love especially the great color you chose and the overall design...I can NOT imagine how much time you spent in doing this! I can only imagine the next one will be bigger and better...I think you did a great job...so kudos to you...surely you will be able to use it somewhere or give it to someone...can't you? I saw a pillow made from an old sweater once...I know this one isn't old...but seems a waste of your great talents and time not to be able to display it in some way....Love all of your creations...keep em' coming!!
Very nice Anina. I have never seen a cube pin cushion. And way to finish what you have. I've only finished one thing so far. Working on #2.

ReplyDeleteOh my, wonderful pincushion!!! I'm so amazed that my mouth is open and I can't close it.
ReplyDeleteI know this is going back a while but how did you keep your pincushion so square (i.e. not bulging out) - can you remember what you stuffed it with?! Thank you!
