I wasn't going to show this to anyone, but it seems like everyone wants to see it. I promised a teenie photo and here it is.
It's scruffy looking and way too small. Actually, truth be told, when I looked at it this morning it didn't look quite as scruffy as it did yesterday, but it's still too small.
OK, here's a bigger photo so you can see all the flaws. Please send any advice you have because I'm gearing up to knit another sweater (not this one though).

Oh....if only i were small enough to wear it!!! I think a young lady in a back to work program would be honored to wear it! We crafters are WAY to critical of our efforts! That's one reason I like to give my stuff away, so I don't have to look at the imperfections in my crafting.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any advice on the techniques... I am by no means an accomplished yarn girl.
Thank you for sharing!
So I think it looks pretty good. Where were the problems? I know you said you were having trouble with the sleeves. Anything else?
ReplyDeleteOK, so call me a DUMB NON-KNITTER, but I can't see any flaws! I think it looks great. Just a pity that it's too small :(
ReplyDeleteI think it is adorable. I have some trouble seaming, and all I can say is it gets better. I think you are being hard on yourself because the sweater is really cute and I think someone would love to wear it!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry after all that work it is too small, but it looks very pretty to me.
ReplyDeletePretty! I'm sure someone of the right size would be delighted with it!
ReplyDeleteFlaws? Flaws? You've got to be kidding. This is gorgeous. I'm just learning to knit and I love this... and the color!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletelooks good to me, but i'm a beginning knitter so i can't really see any flaws. from the photo it looks fantastic. pity it's too small though as it would make a wonderful spring cardigan. good luck with the next one!

It's gorgeous and I appreciate all the hard work you put into making this lovely creation.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks lovely! I don't see any flaws!!
ReplyDeleteI think it's cute. love the color!
ReplyDeleteI think it's beautiful! I love the color and the details on the bottom half. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great sweater, from one knitter to another. Flaws? I'm even a picky person but I can't see them. Being too small well, that's a drawback! I've done that too and had to give a very nice sweater away due to size.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your blog. Just spent a while reading your archives. You are quite prolific in creating things!!!
I think it looks nice! I hate knitting clothing. I am never satisfied with it. Even when I swatch it comes out the wrong size. It's also tough when you change out the yarn instead of what the pattern calls for. I will hope that practice makes perfect and my next sweater will be better. I still think it's just tough to make clothes. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the color, too!
