The Spice Market quilt is finished. I sewed the last stitch on the binding at 11pm last night.
It's still January and I'm already a third of the way to my total amount of finishes for 2009!
I think that organizing thing may be working. The house is even relatively tidy.
I had a hard time getting good photos in the rain.

Sydney absconded the moment she felt raindrops on her back.

ReplyDeleteOrganizing always seems to work...
I think your rainy day is the perfect background for displaying the quilt - Quilting texture reflected in the stones on the left, colors mimic the foliage - photography and quilt excellence.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Fabulous! I think I need to get organised too.

Must be something in the air when it comes to that quilt. I saw a fellow sewer this weekend and she was just finishing this exact top in these exact fabrics (from a kit she purchased). I love the colors! Good for you on getting it wrapped up!
ReplyDeleteMy Dear Jane book and software arrived this week. Now I am feeling totally overwhelmed re: where to start and what type to make (e.g., scrappy, blue and white, modern fabrics, repros, etc).
i LOVE how it turned out! i remember when you started this one! i bought several of those fabrics on clearance at my LQS. love them.
