So, it's not going to be a quick project.
I thought because the hexies are little (1/2" to be exact) and I'm planning a mini quilt, this would be a walk in the park.
Hah!
I described my way of preparing Granny's Flower Garden hexies over here.
Wish me luck.

Wow - awesome! I've been saving my scraps for quite some time and maybe now I have a reason - a hex quilt with small hexes. You are an inspiration and that link back to your way of doing them... thank you, it's brilliance!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors you are using (I know, its the backs, but I can imagine)! Hexies are so much fun! Addicting, really!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I did not know you could use the printer with freezer paper! I make mine with freezer paper too but hand drew (with a template) all of them....hundreds, for a friend who was just learning to quilt!
ReplyDeletewow, they really are tiny. Looking forward to seeing how your mini quilt turns out.
ReplyDeleteWell, they're sure going to be cute! Oh, and Good Luck!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's always the things you think will go quickly that take the longest!
ReplyDeleteMy hexies are sitting right next to me. I really should be working on them and get off the computer. But mine are not 1/2" either.
ReplyDeleteOh, Anina - lots of work there, but it will be very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHugs - Lurline♥
I have just one question. Where do you find all your energy and can you share some with me? ha ha
ReplyDeleteLove your enthusiasm!
There's as much work in a small quilt as in a large one... still can't skip any steps...
ReplyDelete1/2 "?????? Oh lady, you are a determined woman.
