Spring Fling

This one has been in the works since the end of 2008 and is finally done.
I quilted it in two and a half hours on Thursday.
Halfway!
It's definitely a Spring to Finish project.
Spring Fling
And the newest twiddletails pattern.
Back in August 2008 I made this quilt.
Pastel logs
It was totaly improvisational and I loved it. I really wanted to turn it into a pattern but each block was completely different and that would be an issue.
So I played around with ideas a little and came up with the new one which, although it looks random, really isn't.

Remember that back I was working on?
Spring Fling
I'm giddishly (is that a word?) happy with this pattern!
It's in the store right now.

  9. Can I just say, this is such a fabulous, gorgeous quilt?! I really love it, seriously! I love the clean white with the blocks of bright shades of colors. I like that each block has several shades of color, not just one shade. Great job!

  13. Anina, I really like this one and how it turned out! The backing really makes it a two sided quilt.

  14. Good for you! That's a lot of work. Highly impressive to quilt it in 2.5 hours. My back would hate me.

  16. Yes... I do think giddishly is a word (in spite of what my spell check tells me). Your Spring Fling is genius, Anina! Depending how one tilts their head...

    it's modern... it's scrappy
    it's orderly... it's random
    it's sharp... it's free-for-all-ishy.

I just love it and love how your creative mind works!
