Boring...

...but quick.
I spent a significant amount of time yesterday trying to come up with something cute and original to do with my scraps. I have a lot of scraps, so I decided to go with boring for now. I'm sure something will pop into my head before they're all gone.

    This doesn't LOOK boring! It looks very cheerful. Maybe you could do an applique in some of those block. Or use the strip-pieced blocks to frame something, like another applique.

    It may be boring to sew but it sure doesn't look boring. Don't you love it when you press the seams after you have finished sewing something and all the colours seem to just melt together. That is my favourite part of quilting. I think I have to sew some boring.

    This is great--happy, bright colors! I spent a lot of time yesterday, too, trying to come up with a way to use up my scraps... still deciding. Thanks for organizing "Nothing But Scraps".

    gotta love scraps...get them altogether like this and they just transform. i've been thinking about my nothing but scraps project. so many scraps...so many ideas.
