Busy as a (Quilting) Bee

I'm all caught up on Virtual Quilting Bee blocks!

This one's for Grace:

This one was the most time consuming, but SO much fun!
It's for Sarah, who requested that we add texture but not color.

    Each and every one of these blocks is gorgeous! That last block with the smocking detail looks so artistic and "outside the box." Well done!

    Oh. Wow. Love that smocking! I started to learn how to do smocking 2 days before my second child was born and haven't returned to it since
    (25 yrs. ago)!

    Wow! I just found you through salt marsh designs and this is so fun. I love the texture. Did you do that yourself or was it part of the fabric? Very cool.

    I tried smocking like that for a top for my daughter - in grey also. I love the idea of using it on a quilt block.
