I can't put it in the title

Actually, I can't put it in the post either. So, let's just say my logical thinking is not at its best today and I'm a little frustrated with myself.

I decided to take a break from quilting and make something small for a change. This tutorial was in my bookmarks. The tutorial is great. I'm the idiot.

Here's my wallet. Cute, you say?

Pity, all the "real cute" is on the back because I didn't have the brains foresight to think about the way I pieced the strips.

I highly recommend the tutorial though. It was very clear and easy to follow and I really like the wallet.

I may try to figure out a way to add a coin pocket.

Jo outdid herself sewing through a multitude of fabric layers without batting an eyelid.

    Your wallet is such fun! And I'm not bothered by the way you placed your fabrics. I used to make fabric wallets for gifts all the time. I had (and still have somewhere) a funny old booklet that has the patterns. Maybe I'll have to look it up and adapt some of it to this tutorial and come up with something new for my purse.     What a delightful wallet! Isn't it wonderful when your efforts finally work out satisfactorily? I was challenged last week by a project that should have been quite simple but my brain cells fell out somewhere and left me confused. I finally conquered that project the other day--and it was just a silly mistake on my part. I guess everyone has days like this but let's hope they are few and far between.

    Remember, when you use the wallet, other people will being seing the cute back side, so all is not lost just because you like the back better than the front.
    I too bookmarked this tutorial awhile back, and am going to get to it right after the pillowcases.
