This, in my opinion, is what a quilt store should be. Strip mall fabric is fine, but this works wonders for your soul.
The rooster meets you at the gate.
The fabric selection is astounding.
And you leave there ready to make whatever strikes your fancy. These happen to be for the Dear Jane quilt but I was very, very tempted to grab everything I could lay my hands on.
Absolute fabric addict heaven!

That does indeed look like a wonderful quilt store. I have to say that being greeted by roosters is such a novel and delightful experience that I wish I could enjoy it, too.

ReplyDeletei'm a new reader catching up on your old blog posts and i know i'm like 6 months late with this comment... but keepsake cottage is my favorite quilt shop in the seattle area! the location is kind of random, but i like it better than quiltworks nw or quilting loft or any of the other places i've been to.
