Amateur Hour


I thought I'd try my hand at something "arty" last night, but I clearly need that drawing class I'm taking soon...

    I think you did a wonderful job on your drawing. You definitely have talent. What medium did you use? I normally do all of my graphics digitally now using a Wacom tablet and pen. It's such fun and makes me feel that I'm six years old again!

    Thanks! I'm taking a drawing class starting next week and was "testing" the waters. I used ink and pencil and then scanned it in and colored it with Photoshop. I don't have a tablet, hence the small size of the picture (to hide the imperfections, hee, hee).

    wow...you are quite an artist...I am impressed!

    do you know about Illustration Friday? You can sign up for a weekly e-mail and they will send you a word or subject to draw, illustrate, paint, etc. you may want to check that out if you want to challenge yourself.
