It has to be Portland right?! We went to the rose garden and took pictures right on those stairs :-) We were there in September though so there weren't as many roses...your pics are beautiful! Fun trip!!
My guess is in Portland at the Rose Festival. (and I didn't read anyone else's comments before making this guess :)) where ever it looks very enjoyable!
If you were over on the west coast I haven't been in some years so I wouldn't remember what it looked like. It looks beautiful wherever you were. Looks like you you had a fantastic weekend! Good for you!!!!
Somewhere very lovely!! Although I know it wasn't Victoria because Victoria does not have Amtrack or that Hotel with an American flag hanging on it. So my guess would be Portland and since I have only been to Portland in January I can see I might need to go there in June. Looks like you had a great time.
Looks like Portland OR to me...the tail end of the Rose Festival, and that last photo looks like a bit of the Pride Parade, perhaps? I love taking the train from Seattle to Portland (although haven't done it in years).
well all the roses make me think Portland but I have no idea really.
ReplyDeletehas to be Victoria BC!

ReplyDeleteWith all the foliage in the background, I'd have to say Victoria BC. Truly beautiful and the picnic looks amazing!
ReplyDeletePortland! We loved visiting the rose gardens and the Japanese gardens when we visited a few years ago!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking Victoria, but the Portland voters have me second guessing. Do tell!
ReplyDeleteokay, I just reaized that Victoria is an island and it's doubtful that you took a train to an island. Duhhh.
ReplyDeletePortland...the Benson Hotel? Do they still have a fantastic Sunday brunch?
ReplyDeleteWere you in my neck of the woods while I was sorta in your neck of the woods? LOL ooxx`jod
ReplyDeleteWhere ever it is it looks idyllic. I wish I were there.

ReplyDeleteIs it weird that I can't stop thinking that the pink and white rose looks just like this Amy Butler fabric?

LOVE that meal, it's actually my favorite meal (minus pate and plus cheese).
My home town - Portland - the Rose Gardens, specifically!
