I couldn't help it. I had to start sewing the nine patches together.
Aren't they pretty?
I can hardly wait for the June blocks.
Oh, and there WILL be a July swap too. I think 48 blocks will make a really nice quilt.

ReplyDeleteI received my blocks today and the sizes range from 6 inches to 6 3/4 inches with only three measuring in at 6 1/2 inches.
ReplyDeleteI had planned to sash the blocks but as I am new to this I'm not sure how to do that with such a variation of sizes. Any tips or tricks that you can share to help me with this would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Hey Anina - I'm so glad you are up to continuing into July! Thanks. I recognize a block there and can't wait to see mine! Those look great!
ReplyDeleteExcellent - A third opportunity to get the 6.5" right! I'm entertaining a disappearing 9P sort of thing, maybe only some of the blocks, leaving others original. We'll See.
ReplyDeleteJODI.MARIE - Maybe you can resew? Especially the larger ones will have enough fabric. I've done that with some block exchanges and been happy with the result.
Aloha, Jo
