Just because

A teenie little giveaway.

1. Just leave a comment here and answer a burning question:
Do you talk to yourself?
I was in the grocery store talking to myself about different pasta options and wondered if anyone heard me and thought I was cuckoo. I talk to myself all the time when I'm at home sewing but public "self-conversation" may be a little more rare.
2. If you mention my teenie giveaway on your blog, leave another comment telling me and I'll enter you a second time.

I'll do the drawing at 7:00am PST on Tuesday.

  1. I don't talk to myself, only in my head. I had a roommate who was an "outloud thinker" and it took some getting used to to know when I needed to respond!

  2. Yes, I do. Though I admit that I talk to myself more when my husband is there. I'm not talking to him, but somehow in my subconscious I guess it makes is seem more like I'm not talking to myself. So we have a lot of conversations like this:
Me: (saying something to myself not very loudly)
    Him: What did you say?
Me: Nothing. I was talking to myself.

    :)

  3. i always talk to myself. especially when i am shopping. i compare things out loud to help me make decisions. i know people think i am crazy!

    ReplyDelete
  4. oh yeah definitely. i only feel cuckoo when i chuckle at myself. like right now!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Sometimes. But more likely I find myself talking to inanimate objects. I also talk to the dog a lot and DH keeps thinking I'm talking to him.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I talk to myself all the time - and usually answer myself too - and I do tend to listen to my answers as that is what I typically go with.

  7. No - Unless you count the voices in my head as "myself"? : )
    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  8. I talk to my cats, which i think qualifies as talking to myself, as they are rarely listening.

    ReplyDelete
  9. i do tend to talk to myself. mostly when i am trying to make a decision between a couple things- such as pasta in the store. :)

    ReplyDelete
  10. I talk to myself a lot, especially at work. My boss came into my office yesterday as I was talking to myself, and said, "That doesn't sound good when you're talking to yourself in that tone." lol

    ReplyDelete
  11. :)
Yes, I do talk to myself sometimes. Sometimes my husband will say "what?" and I'm like--I was talking to myself! Or... did I say that out loud?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Oh, yes, I definitely talk to myself!! My husband will think I'm on the phone, but really I'm just talking to me!

    ReplyDelete
  13. I always talk to myself and my coworkers also do.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I do. I am trying to make the effort to say positive things instead of the typical: "what the &%$#@!!! Juli!!!"
    :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Yup, I'm a think out loud gal. It's funny that you posted this today because yesterday I was planning out a block for a quilting bee and realizing how much I talk to myself. I tend to say things like "if I put this here, then that will work there, ok, ok" Glad to know I'm not the only crazy one! :)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yep, I talk to myself too but normally just when I'm at home. Although...I'm sure I've done it in public places as well.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yes, I have to admit it: sometimes I talk to myself. Very often, I am alone all day in the house, and I find it healthy mentally to "keep myself company" from time to time. Sometimes, I even sing!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I talk to myself only occasionally and it is usually when something has frustrated me. I can't remember if I've spoken to myself in public. My nearly 5 year old talks to herself all of the time. I used to do this as well when I was a kid.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yes, I do. More often, I'll talk to "things." The computer, my fabric, the pot boiling over on the stove - "no, no, please don't do that!"

    ReplyDelete
  20. I will be happy to spread the word and tell people about your giveaway on my blog. I LOVE that O Cherry O fabric line!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I talk so much to myself that it can cause confusion. At work is even kind of funny, with people asking "you're talking to me"? over and over again.
I also post about your question and giveaway in my blog (http://tinyurl.com/r9dw6l)
Thanks for the present and it's funny to know that I'm not alone in the world of selftalking. :D

    ReplyDelete
  22. I'm ALWAYS talking to myself. Only outloud when alone... in my head the rest of the time. Most especially if I've had a disagreement with someone... I replay it over and over with the words I SHOULD have said! :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Thanks for being so generous-- I don't talk to myself outloud, but I do ask my dogs questions pretty regularly.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Perhaps it is a sign of a creative mind?! I totally talk to myself all the time. Just in my head when I'm out and about (I hope!) Just like chermonblie said - especially when I'm replaying a disagreement or embarassing situation.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yes, I do, but now that I'm pushing a baby around, I talk to him instead. :-) I had a friend whose mom said it was the sign of a genius. Lovely giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  26. On occation I do talk to myself but it's always in a tone of self disipline. Ex. "Oh, LeeAnn (sometimes a middle name if it was really bad), why on earth did you do that!?"

    ReplyDelete
  27. I always talk to myself. Like someone else said, I talk to inanimate objects too. I always say 'hi' and 'bye' to my apartment whenever I come and go. I guess that makes me a freak, huh?!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Oh yes, I talk to myself.
    Mostly when sewing or shopping.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Oh my gosh...I am an Arabic major and I find myself talking to myself in Arabic aloud all the time. I am afraid I am going to be hauled away one day!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I was musing one day while sitting in the airport that, I remember when you used to avoid people who walked around talking to themselves all the time, now they really usually just have a bluetooth ear piece on. How are you supposed to be able to pick out the crazies? Then again I think walking around with a phone attached to your ear all day may make you a "crazy" :-)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yep, I talk to myself. Especially when I'm trying to work something tricky out.

    queenofhearts.denise@gmail.com

    ReplyDelete
  32. Lovely giveaway! I mainly talk to myself when I'm sewing or quilting, not usually in public except with quilting friends. Thanks for the chance!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I talk to myself all the time. I just try not to do it in public places!

    ReplyDelete
  34. All the time! I also have arguments with people when they are nowhere near me. If the car had ears...

    ReplyDelete
  35. The key to public self-conversation is to do it when you're shopping with little kids. They don't listen to you anyway and everyone else will think you're talking to the little ones. ;) Thanks for the giveaway! (markusandemily@hotmail.com)

    ReplyDelete
  36. I definitely verbalize the ongoing monologue in my head. Luckily I'm usually with my kids, so I seem less crazy. But if I'm at the grocery store without kids, I still rock the cart back and forth like I'm trying to soothe a baby... so there goes my impression of sanity! : )

love the Oh Cherry Oh line!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I seem to talk to myself a lot - I'm often under the impression I'm talking to my husband but he never answers so I guess I talk to myself more than I realise!
    Chris x

    ReplyDelete
  38. Talk to myself. . .oh, yeah, with 5 kids, sometimes it's the only adult conversation I have! I also apologize to my computer when I make a mistake. . .my husband says I take goofy to a whole new level!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yes, but not as much as I used to. I've 'toned' it down some because my son thinks its weird. Thanks for the fun!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I don't so much as talk to myself, but say things on a to do list outloud when my kids or someone is around. I guess I think by saying this stuff outloud, they will help me remember~YEAH RIGHT!!! ~Jan

    ReplyDelete
  41. I talk to myself, especially when I am frustrated or confused. I think saying it out loud helps me process. Pretty fabrics!

    ReplyDelete
  42. I do talk to myself, especially when I'm alone in the car. When I'm in public, I try to keep it in my head--I'm not sure how successful I am!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I actually do it a lot :-0 That must mean I'm crazy! And I love giveaways that are "just because".

    ReplyDelete
  44. No, I don't talk to myself. I usually play different conversations in my mind, but they are never loud.
I just love these beautiful fabrics! Thank you for this great giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yes I talk to myself. And I talk to my dogs and explain things to them that leave them baffled. I live in the country and I'm home alone all day. Who else am I going to talk to?

    ReplyDelete
  46. I occasionally talk to myself. Well, I talk to myself in my head all the time and sometimes it leaks out. My mom talks to herself but you can't hear anything. Her lips move though and its just odd.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I find myself doing it more and more. At least I have my kids with me a lot when I do, so people can assume I'm talking to them ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  48. I posted on my blog about the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Are you kidding, I'm constantly talking to myself ... in fact, sometimes I wish I would just shut up!:)

    ReplyDelete
  50. I had to laugh when I read about you talking to yourself. I find myself doing it all the time. Especially when I am home alone and I think "wow, it's a good thing no one is here!"

    ReplyDelete
  51. Hi I love a giveaway- yay- perfectly fine to talk to yourself I find they are the most interesting conversations anyway lol

    ReplyDelete
  52. Yes I talk to myself. In fact my toddler has started doing it too. haha

    Thanks for the cute giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  53. I do talk to myself BUT I don't answer myself! VERY IMPORTANT!:) What a fabulous giveaway!!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Yes i did, but now with two dogs in the house i talk to the dogs.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Yes I talk to myself out loud but only at home or in the car. With the new cell phones you can get away with talking to yourself more often. People just think you are on the phone.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I talk to myself a lot. Most of the time I try to do it only when I'm alone. But I have been nabbed a few times in public.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I don't usually talk to myself outloud, but boy the voices in my head never shut up!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I'm with A Quilter Awakens above - not so much out loud talking but lots of conversations in my head.
    Thanks for the great giveaway.

  59. Hy there, love this set of prints! Talking to myself...not all the time, but I do once in a while. My grandma always said, "It's fine if you talk to yourself, but you should start getting a bit worried when you answer." Haha, I've always remembered that! Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

    Always,
    Katy

  60. When I was reading your post I was actually telling to myself " oh nice a giveaway.." I do that very often, sometimes it helps me to focus on something when I speak it out..my kids and husband are used to it,but already did it in public too..ups¨

    ReplyDelete
  61. Yup, talk to myself all the time...especially in the grocery store when I am trying to figure out prices. I also talked to both of my kids when they were babies..."Should we have spagetti for dinner?" when there was no way they could actually answer. Thanks for a great giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Pretty much all of the time! Especially if I am prepping myself for a conversation (like with my boss or something :)) So, you are soooo not alone!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Made a link from my blog to yours mentioning your shop and giveaway

    ReplyDelete
  64. I sometimes talk to myself when I'm upset or happy, but most of the times it is only in my head.
Don't worry, you are not alone!

ANd thank you for the giveaway, I just love those fabrics!

    ReplyDelete
  65. I talk to myself at home all the time! I haven't done it out in public though... not yet anyway

    ReplyDelete
  66. I talk to myself a lot in my head, and sometimes have to ask my husband if I said something out loud. I know I say things in my head a lot!

    ReplyDelete
  67. You aren't alone I talk to myself sometimes too.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Oh you're not suppose to talk to yourself? Glad you told me... wondering why people always give me weird looks! :)

    ReplyDelete
  69. I don't talk out loud to myself, but I catch myself silently mouthing words or quotes that are running through my head. And I have very dramatic facial expressions. When I "come to" and realize I look like a muted tv show, I quickly look around and hope no one saw me.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I talk to myself. What is worse is I talk with my hands, so.. even if I am just thinking about something (not talking out loud) My husband still knows when I am talking to myself.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I posted your give away on my blog!

    ReplyDelete
  72. I talk to myself all the time. And sing to myself. My husband says he can't believe how noisy I am. But it isn't just at home. I'll regularly talk to myself in stores, buying groceries. Anywhere I am, I talk to myself.

    ReplyDelete
  73. In my mind, I have complete conversations.
My husband on the otherhand thinks aloud...

    ReplyDelete
  74. Oh my gosh...I talk to myself ALL THE TIME when I am sewing. Usually when I am nervous or about to make a mistake!!

    ReplyDelete
  75. I definitely talk to myself! I also talk to my kids when we are out. Like a 9 month old is really gonna answer me?
    Thanks for the giveaway!
    dkgrayod(at)yahoo(dot)com

    ReplyDelete
  76. I usually only talk to myself if I mess up or if I'm really annoyed with something or someone. Count me in on your giveaway. It looks fun!

    ltenhage@gmail.com

    ReplyDelete
  77. I do talk to myself all the time. I try to keep it down in public though. I know people think I'm mad, especially my kids. Lovely giveaway, please add me in. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Oh yes, in fact, I go one step farther and sing (loudly) to myself. Perhaps I'm another Susan Boyle in the making.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I tend to talk to myself (more a mutter than fully aloud, I think) when I'm looking for something or trying to figure something out. Which means I do it in the store all the time. I've tried to tone that down, though, ever since this nice lady answered me, and I hadn't realized I'd said anything!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Of course I talk to myself, doesn't everyone? LOL. Sometimes out loud and sometimes in my head. But the real burning question is do you answer your own questions??

    ReplyDelete
  81. I live alone. Well, I have a cat but she doesn't talk back. Anyway, I talk to myself so badly that when I was living in my apartment the neighbors thought I had a roommate! I also talk to myself in public places - like the grocery store, library, Home Depot, etc. I tell my friends I am just a shopping cart and 2 cats away from being one of those strange folks on the street...

And, now, because I want that little charm pack I am going over to my blog to post the info about yours! http://reluctantquilter(dot)blogspot(dot)com

    ReplyDelete
  82. Yes, I absolutely do talk to myself. Sometimes I answer myself, too. Scary, huh?

    ReplyDelete
  83. Not very often but when I do, it's a "bad word" that I don't want anyone to know that I said. So, I say it (usually when sewing) and then gasp and look around to see if anyone heard. Then I think "I'm a youth pastors wife, I shouldn't say things like that!" :)

    ReplyDelete
  84. Oops, sorry. That last comment was from me.

  85. I work at home and talk to myself all day long. I know it's weird! Maybe not as weird as I thought, reading the comments above!

    ReplyDelete
  86. I talk to myself all the freakin' time. I used to get embarrassed, but at this point, I've accepted that that's just the way I am. It helps me focus sometimes. :)

It's nice to hear I'm not the only one!

    ReplyDelete
  87. Oh,yes. Yes, I do. In the shower...in the car...haven't caught myself in public yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time!

    ReplyDelete
  88. I talk to myself mostly at work, and just pretend i'm half talking to my co-worker across the cubicle wall!

    ReplyDelete
  89. If you mean out loud, then no, I don't. I am way too self conscious. But I talk to myself plenty in my head!

    ReplyDelete
  90. I talk to myself all the time, silently and out loud. I am a computer programmer and I know all the other programmers around me do the same thing. There is a constant buzz in the office.

Sue Cahill (sbonetsue at yahoo dot com)

    ReplyDelete
  91. I do talk to myself, but I'm constatntly in denial of that fact, so I pretend I'm talking to the computer, to the website, to my keys, to my bag... whatever is in front of me.

    ReplyDelete
  92. I not only talk to myself I answer too!

    ReplyDelete
  93. I talk to myself in my head ALL the time - out loud - not so much. Thanks for the great giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  94. YES, I'm guilty of talking to myself.

One of my kids said to me once,
    "Are you talking to me?"

    I responded,
    "I am, if you're listening."

    ReplyDelete
  95. No I don't have regular conversations with myself but once in a while, especially if I make a mistake while cutting my precious fabric, I'll blurt out something like "oh you're such an idiot"!

    ReplyDelete
  96. Yes, I do talk to myself. And I must say that, after reading all these comments, that I feel a lot better about it!

    ReplyDelete
  97. Yes, I do talk to myself. And in public if need be! When I'm in a really light mood I may even sing to myself in public. Life is too short not to enjoy. : )

On my last trip to the store with my ds15, we had Julie Andrews My Favorite Things in our head and it was funny to sing about tea bags and pickles in place of her words. What a happy memory!

    Talking and singing, YES!

    ReplyDelete
  98. I constantly talk to myself -- especially while sewing.

I like to pretend it's to the kids when I'm in public places, but it's really to myself. I mean, can my 18-month-old really tell me how much chicken we're going to need? or if there are any apples left in the fridge?

    ReplyDelete
  99. Talk to myself - I'm not sure if I'm proud or ashamed to admit I do. Though, I guess I could argue it's not talking to myself, but rather having conversations with some inanimate objects - like the dishwasher - why aren't you done yet?

    ReplyDelete
  100. I only talk in my head to myself. I try to pay attention not to say out loud what I think.

    Thanks for a giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  101. ha! that is such a funny question! its funny cues i think every body does it, right????
yes, i talk to my self some times...

Yes, I do talk to myself, but the kicker is......I also answer my self!!!!!!! Man I'm getting old!

    ReplyDelete
  106. I have to admit that I do it sometimes, it's usually when I'm calling myself crazy out loud for what I was just doing or thinking about.

    ReplyDelete
  107. um . . . yea.

it helps, esp when the kids/fam aren't lisening :)

    ReplyDelete
  108. *raises hand* I talk to myself all of the time. Mostly in the car, or when I am listening to talk radio, I must give them my opinions on the matter. And if I am sewing, or cleaning, I like to tell myself how wonderful my work is, you know a pep talk :) Love the little charm pack, I’d like to be entered in your giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Hi--I posted a link to your giveaway on my blog. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  110. I must admit, I do talk to myself. And the sad thing is I know people have probably heard me and wondered what I was doing. Oh well, glad I'm not alone.

    ReplyDelete
  111. I find the older I get the more I talk to myself..

    ReplyDelete
  112. I regularly talk to myself at home and only usually when I'm mad at myself for something stupid I did or annoyed with something. In public, I do but more under my breath, or after scoping out the immediate area to see if anyone is nearby. It's usually negative talk about me or about others...funny, I don't praise myself out loud....wonder what that says about me? Care to analyze?

    ReplyDelete
  113. Oh my gosh, yes! And sometimes I really enjoy the conversation! LOL!

  117. I talk to myself all the time, including at the grocery store. I'm always on the lookout to hear somebody else doing it.

  119. What a funny question! I do not talk to myself outloud but I have talked to myself in my mind.

    ReplyDelete
  120. All the time! I give myself pep talks, list things out, back track events. Out loud! Sometimes I wonder if I am insane or if that is what keeps me sane.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Guilty. I talk to myself when I'm trying to work out a problem or figure out something. From the comments I'm glad I'm not alone. :)

    ReplyDelete
  122. Yes I do and way too much!
I think it comes from all those years talking to little ones. They grew up and moved on and I'm still talking!

    ReplyDelete
  123. Yes, I talk to myself all the time...usually I'm saying "Well, that was a dumb thing to do!"

    ReplyDelete
  124. Yup...talk out loud to myself...I try to diguise it by talking to the dogs, but everybody knows they are not listening. :)

    ReplyDelete
  125. Yes, of course, I talk to myself. Usually my husband catches me when I'm cleaning out the fridge and talking to the food. Sounds absolutely crazy.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I don't but my ex used to do it all the time and it was hilarious! He'd be working on the car and trying to intimidate it, saying things like, "Okay, you want to be that way? Fine, we'll do it the hard way if you want." People would just walk by and stare at him--it was funny.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Yes I do! I homeschool, and if the boys catch me, I tell them I'm having a parent/teacher conference and boy, are they in trouble now. I especially talk to myself while sewing though.

    ReplyDelete
  128. And I blogged about you! Talked to myself while doing it, too. *snort*

    ReplyDelete
  129. I talk to myself all the time. especially at home or alone in the car. Sometimes, while in public, but I try to keep that under wraps.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  131. yup...sure do. my family is always asking me who i'm talking to. pretty generous of you to give this cute fabric away!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  134. oh good grief, do I ever...I find myself alone alot (with the kids) and sometimes it's the only way to think, you know?
    I love this fabric line....

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  139. I've always talked to myself. I'm really happy too have a non verbal baby right now, because I can talk to myself as much as I want, and I'm just being a good mother and exposing her to language.

    ReplyDelete
  140. I constantly talk to myself, especially when I'm trying to figure things out. Sometimes I end up unintentionally talking to myself cause after ten minutes of a discussion, my boyfriend will look at me and say,"What?".

    Gorgeous fabric!

    ReplyDelete
  141. Oh and I posted on my blog also!

    ReplyDelete
  142. I HAVE to when I'm sewing. My kids think it's hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Yes, I do - and sometimes in different languages!

    ReplyDelete
  144. Yes, I talk to myself all the time. I critique, I give advice, and I encourage myself, but most importantly I talk about opportunities and what I'd like to do if I had more time and more fabric!

Your give-away idea is quite cute.
It is fun just to talk to myself about this give-away.

  145. Oh yeah!!!! All the time. Some of the things I discuss no one else would understand and other things no one else would want to know.

Of course, I am my own worst critic, so there are lots of things I don't discuss at all. I don't want to be criticized.

    Hugs,

  146. A big YES, I talk to myself especially when I am trying out a new pattern. I have to read it out load and then talk about it to myself.

  147. Yes, I do talk to myself, but that is because no one else will listen to me :-) No really I think we all talk to ourselves once in a while, don't you??

    Love your giveaway. Thanks.

  148. I definitely talk to myself. The best moments are probably when I'm rehashing some conversation in my mind and then voice my response, and the kids are in the back seat and are like, "Who are you talking to?!" ...you crazy woman, I'm sure they're thinking.

    ReplyDelete
  149. I believe I only talk to myself on occasion. But that might not be the whole truth!

    ReplyDelete
  150. All the freakin' time! I talk to myself, so does my mom, my brother, my hubbie, my 6 year old granddaughter and ALOT of the women in the quilting classes I take. LOL

Cherry-Oh is one of my favorites. *fingers crossed*

  151. Yes, I do talk to myself and whats worse I enjoy it! :-/
I can think things through this way and I don't bother anyone else with my thoughts. Don't quit. You'll miss it. ;)

  152. Of course I talk to myself. I have to have one person who always agrees with me. LOL

  153. Being a stay at home mum with a 2yo and a 12 wk old it's the only sane converstaion I get during the day.

    ReplyDelete
  154. No, I don't talk to myself. But if I heard you talking to yourself in the grocery store, I would help you choose a pasta shape!

    ReplyDelete
  155. I've always talked ot myself, but for the last 5 1/2 months I've had a baby to talk to so that provides an alibi in public!

    ReplyDelete
  156. I talk to myself all the time, and answer myself. I also am always humming or singing when I'm alone, did it once in the store and someone started singing along, so I'm really careful about that now.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Yep, I'm a chatterer to myself and anyone else who will listen. Would love the fabric pack!

    ReplyDelete
  158. Oh yes, and I put your giveaway on my blog too, while I was talking to myself about it.

    ReplyDelete
  159. I'm not sure if I TALK to myself... but I sure mumble! ;)

  160. I talk to myself all the time but mostly it's when I'm in my studio working. VBG Gotta get those pieces all in the right place, my granddaughter just picked that same charm pack the other day, She had to put it back tho, it would make a great little quilt for her.

  161. How sweet of you! Yes, I talk to myself too, mostly in the car, but also while working in the backyard and also in my sewing room. Sometimes I make comments to myself while shopping too, which I hope no one notices! My husband talks to himself even more, and especially to the TV!

    ReplyDelete
  162. I guess you would have to call it talking to myself if I say something or call myself stupid when I make a huge boo boo when I'm sewing. Cute charm pack. Thanks Anina!

    ReplyDelete
  163. yes, i do! i do it mainly while shopping...for anything...i do in the grocery, in the quilt shop, in jcpenney! i often realize it and then look around to make sure no one heard me!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  164. I read your blog all the time but believe this is the first time I've ever commented! Giveaways bring folks out of the woodwork! LOL! I don't think I've ever talked to myself, but I have gone over conversations in my head over and over! Thanks for the giveaway!

  165. Unfortunately the older I get the more I find myself talking to myself.

    ReplyDelete
  166. I talk to my friend. She is always with me, but you can only see her if you are intelligent enough. Just like in the story of the Emperor's New Clothes! That's my story and I'm sticking with it :)

  167. I'm an only child, so I was often the only person around to talk to. I try not to do it in public but it happens.

Thank you for hosting this great giveaway

  168. I talk to myself all the time. Sometimes I am the only one that will listen. Hee hee.

    ReplyDelete
  169. Well.....I like to refer to it as "talking to life"....it just helps to figure things out...if you know what I mean..tee hee!
Thanks for the fun blog and the giveaway...I'm so enjoying my rainbow Jane and think I finally have the hang of it.
    Thanks,

  170. I talk to myself all the time. Sometimes when I'm in the aisle at the grocery store and I need help someone will hear me and offer some. sad but true.

  171. I do talk to myself more now than ever. Weird. But I do. I would love to be in your give away!

    ReplyDelete
  172. I am going to add your giveaway at the end of my Annie Doll Post. Thanks

  173. I talk to myself regularly and often out loud. I find I do it more often when I'm angry or frustrated. I know it's really embarrassing when someone else hears you and asks "what?". "Oh, nothing" is the usual reply. I follow your blog on GR and mentioned your giveaway on my blog. Thanks for sharing...Kathy

  174. I usually think to myself rather than say it aloud. Unfortunately, I say aloud what I think my kitty is thinking.
    For example:
Oh, yes... I've got you now you feathery thing... yes, yes, no! come back! aha! I've got you again. now i will show you- wait, get back! it's time to be munched upon. oh yes, lots of muching... oh wait, quick bath time... oh, look, feathers!

Which is great fun, until you realize your roommate/boyfriend/someone else you didn't know was home has been standing behind you and is trying not to laugh.

  175. yes but my mom told me not to answer myself!

  176. Being an only child I had no one to talk to but myself and boy did I get some good answers LOL.Nice give away.

  177. I don't talk to myself - do talk to my sewing machine though, which is quite possible worse!

    ReplyDelete
  178. I talk to myself all the time when I'm by myself or at home (even if not by myself...hubby thinks I'm nuts), but not too often when I'm out where people might hear me. Of course, these days, maybe they just assume you have one of those blueray phones or whatever in your ear.

    ReplyDelete
  179. Yup, I do it too, but I try to keep it at home. When I catch my self saying something to me in public, I get embarrassed and look around to see if anyone heard me!! They might think I'm cuckoo, you know:)

    ReplyDelete
  180. I talk to myself all the time. If it's in public, I'm usually just running through the things I have to do. If it's in private, I sometimes carry on "conversations" with imaginary people. Once when I was driving home from work (50 minutes at 11:00 at night) I "taught" a beginner quilting class.

    ReplyDelete
  181. OH yes I have talked to myself as long as I can remember!! In public I do without using my mouth...like reading to yourself :)

    I love your blog!

  183. Absolutely I talk to myself -- and I like it! (Although, it's a bit embarrassing sometimes!!!)

    ReplyDelete
  184. Yes!!! Just the other day I was walking out of the post office and realized I made a comment out loud and a man was staring at me. I was sooooo red faced. I don't talk to myself often but I tend to make a comment or two (especially if I have something on my mind).
Love your give-away! Good luck everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  185. I talked about your giveaway and blog on my blog, I would love for you to come visit my blog.
    Prayers, Bo

  186. I talk to myself all the time. I also sing (badly) to myself quite a lot. It's good when you've got little kids with you, people just assume you're talking to the kids (or at least I hope they do).

    ReplyDelete
  187. I talk to myself when I'm trying to figure something out. I'm a student and often have a lot of data to get through so I will talk myself through it. It seems to work and if it makes sense out loud, it must be true :).

    ReplyDelete
  188. I talk to myself all the time. I find it helpful to talk to myself when I'm trying to make a decision. That way, I usually get what I really want! :)

    ReplyDelete
  189. Ohhh, I talk to myself daily. Who else will listen to my insane ramblings? I think my worst offense takes place in the car - I make sound effects as I drive. I say things like, "Vroom!" When people drive with me, sometimes I slip and my cover is blown.

    ReplyDelete
  190. Ii actually saw this charm pack in a magizine the other day it is very cute. I Get so excited about theses giveaways everyone always find such neat things to share.

As for the talking to myself. Heck I talk and carry conversations and answer my owe questions. People must think I'm a backet case but it keeps me organized.

    ReplyDelete
  191. Yep, sure do, but mostly I talk back to the TV,
