Another GITF completed!

Just not by me.

I'm starting to feel so guilty about my Geese in the Forest quilt. That's the thing with this pattern. Once I made one of each block, I knew they turn out great and the other ninety or so went on the backburner. Well, actually I've made about 60 of the 100 blocks, but I'm not done.

Like Becky.

And Tina.

And, of course, Mary.

It's on the list and I really hope to have it finished before Christmas.
Really.

(If you've completed yours and would like me to post about it, let me know.)

  4. Now I'M going to feel guilty about MY geese in the forest quilt. I know I will love it when it's done. I downloaded all the pattern pieces. I'm SURE I don't have 60 done. I think it's more like 20. And now I have your excellent pinwheel party to do as well. Hopefully I'll be better on that one, more diligent. Thanks for the beautiful patterns, though. I love your stuff!

  5. You're further than I am! I haven't even printed out the pattern pieces yet! I plotted out the fabrics, but now I am second guessing my choices.

Thanks for posting all the other quilts! I love seeing everyone's variations.

  6. This looks like a fun project. You are over the half way mark --- 60% is near the finish line now :)

  7. This is one of those projects on the "to do" list! Although, I never considered some of the colors used above, I really need to give that further thought. Wanted to tell you I downloaded "Until I Find You" onto my MP3 tonight. It's 35 hours long, so that should make for plenty of good listening while I'm sewing. Lynne

  8. Beautiful quilts! I love the original colors, but I also enjoy seeing it done in other fabrics. I asked for the kit for this quilt for Christmas and didn't get it. I felt very sorry for myself. :)

  9. I love these additional color schemes! The purple and greens makes me think of spring in the mountains, and the blues and greens makes me think of the woods in summer. Just gorgeous! Makes me want to try making one too!

  13. Don't feel bad, you're already further along than me. I've printed all of the paper templates for the pattern...and now they've been back-burnered. :S
