New drapes (almost)!

We visited Ikea on Sunday to get more shelving for fabric. Yes, I'm expanding by the day!
Then I saw this:

The drapes in the store/dining room are awfully dated.  This is just what the doctor ordered.  Now to find time to actually make new curtains.

  2. Love that fabric! It's dangerous for me to go to Ikea and hang around the fabric section for too long hehe

  5. Admit it, you're going to make the curtains slightly too narrow and slightly too short so that you have lots of scraps.... :-)

    Beautiful choice!

  13. Eek! I bought some of that to make roman shades for the spare bedroom -- but I saw somewhere that someone had used fabric paints and colored some of the flowers...and it actually looked kind of cool!
