We visited Ikea on Sunday to get more shelving for fabric. Yes, I'm expanding by the day!
Then I saw this:
The drapes in the store/dining room are awfully dated. This is just what the doctor ordered. Now to find time to actually make new curtains.
Oh boy! That fabric is going to make beautiful drapes. But I don't envy you the task. :)
ReplyDeleteLove that fabric! It's dangerous for me to go to Ikea and hang around the fabric section for too long hehe
ReplyDeleteSome of those big grommets would look cool . . .
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up! You have all that fab fabric coming in daily and you go to Ikea for more! Too funny!!!
ReplyDeleteAdmit it, you're going to make the curtains slightly too narrow and slightly too short so that you have lots of scraps.... :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful choice!
Nice fabric. Be sure to take before and after pictures!
ReplyDeleteThat fabric is terrific! I just love Ikea and really need to make an Ikea run soon.
ReplyDeleteI just installed drapes today tat I made with Ikea abric. I also slipcovered a loveseat with the same fabric. A very luxe look for little cash!! I will post pictures on my blog.
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric and they will make really fab drapes!
ReplyDeleteoh, let's not talk about the expanding fabric situations. Lucky for you there is still room for the shelves. :)

ReplyDeleteEek! I bought some of that to make roman shades for the spare bedroom -- but I saw somewhere that someone had used fabric paints and colored some of the flowers...and it actually looked kind of cool!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric - can't wait to see the drapes, or is it curtains?
