I was scanning through the blog archives for photos of the log cabin quilt I hinted at in my first post back in 2007 and found that I don't think I ever shared photos of the actual completed quilt.
So here she is:
I really still love this little quilt, although it's a little more traditional than I would make these days. It was also in the days when I never made a quilt without a pattern. Blogging sure changed that!
It seems like I did some bathroom basting back in the day and had just forgotten...
and I used to take such lovely photos back when time wasn't an issue...
All this reflecting is making me a little nostalgic and thinking about how much simpler things were back in '07.

lovely blue - I love log cabin quilts and I think I have made at least 4 or 5 of them over the years and keep one of them in the camper.

It's beautiful Anina! I love the pretty blue, with punches of red. Simpler back then, yes...but look how much fun you're having now LOL!

Never having made a log cabin quilt, I must say I'm very impressed with this and your selection of colors. I think it's the monochromatic look that I like so much. Lovely hand quilting, too. Thanks for digging it up and showing it to us... it's beautiful.
