What's on our tree

As I've mentioned before, we don't have a "designer" tree. Maybe one day we'll have a tree all color-coordinated and pretty, but for now it's about ornaments with memories and, even though these have no rhyme or reason, we love the memories they bring.

Josh loves penguins. We're actually contemplating having a separate "penguin tree" next year.

  3. I like the "themeless" tree. Each ornament I put on my tree has a special memory attached to it and for me that is one of the greatest joys of decorating the tree (plus, they make great conversation starters...)

  5. What beautiful ornaments! We don't have a designer tree either, ours is very eclectic but it makes us happy.

  6. I like the ornaments on your tree! I think a non-designer tree is way better than a designer tree any day!

  7. Eclectic is better! :-) Though I do confess to starting a separate bird tree this year.

  8. I just posted a collage of some of my ornaments on my blog. I'm just a big copy cat (imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?)
