This took me a day and a night to figure out.
What do you think?
And a question: What flower do you think this is supposed to be?
(Don't forget that the giveaway ends at midnight.)
Update: I'm getting a lot of "pansy", which is what I was worried about. How about this one? Just squint and ignore all the seam lines.)

I would say pansy...
ReplyDeletePansy!! Great idea!! Anne:-)
ReplyDeleteOh dear I'm still only seeing a pansy! Sorry!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, pansy for me too....sorry.
ReplyDeleteI think it could be a peony.
ReplyDeletePeony
ReplyDeleteI see a rose or a poppy. Roses are my favorite flowers, so I see them a lot, but the yellow center reminds me of the Oriental poppies in my yard.
ReplyDeletebegonia?
ReplyDeletemaybe its just the color i see though
Peony! Or maybe a poppy.
ReplyDeleteI see a rose! I hope I'm right. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a poppy to me in the solids, like a rose in your fabrics. :) Pretty!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a pretty poppy.
ReplyDeletepeony? wow, lot of work in it x
ReplyDeleteDogwood rose - lovely colours, whatever flower it is!
ReplyDeleteA rose, it does look a little like a pansy, maybe because of the yellow surrounding the centre square.
ReplyDeleteI thought a peony when I saw it.

Looks like a poppy to me. But it's pretty no matter what kind it is.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a petunia!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a poppy or pansy. Lots of pieces, but I love it!
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was hibiscus, probably because of the yellow center. I see what it's supposed to be from the second picture name, which is not a flower I'm that familiar with (I live in the Midwest) so I wouldn't have guessed it in any case.
ReplyDeleteThe 3-lobe version was certainly a pansy or viola in my brain. The 4-sided center is no longer pansy, but now I'm wanting some leaves to figure out what multipetaled flower it represents.
ReplyDeleteA zinnia? But does it matter? Sometimes a flower is just a flower but of course that's only when I didn't go to the trouble of making it!

I think it's a poppy. Love it!
ReplyDeleteIs that a rose?
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking a rose or a peony ... it's pretty but wow - that's a lot of seams. I think I'd have to stick with applique :) Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI will say it is a rose and a very lovely one at that.
ReplyDeleteI guess it’s a camelia japonica!
ReplyDeleteI saw pansy too but I think it could be a Poppy.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a peony... I have them at home right know actually!
ReplyDeleteI would guess a poppy or peony!
ReplyDeleteI don't see pansy at all - I see peony....
ReplyDeleteMaybe a poppy.....
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a petunia to me. Anyway, it's pretty!
