Having lived out there for several years, I remember the "sunshine high" when there were a couple of sunny days in a row. Hopefully it won't get as warm this year as it did last summer. Those were some hot days for a lot of folks that don't have central air conditioning!
I agree with Maria!! The Sun in England turns up, lulls us into a false sense of security and just when you start enjoying the sunshine it buggers off and it starts tipping it down with rain! Not just any rain either! Buckets and buckets of the really wet and horrid kind!
That looks heavenly! We've had such a cool, rainy spring here in Wisconsin, so I am envious. Hope you spend the entire weekend outside, and feel that warm sun on your face! Woohoo!
Oh, this PNW girl knows exactly what you're talking about. Yes, it IS exciting - and gorgeous out this early weekend morning. I opened the curtains far earlier than normal to let the sunshine and blueness of the skies inside. Let's enjoy it while we can! ~Adrienne~
Okay, fine brag. . .it's 100 here in far northern California today. Everyone thinks North CA is always nice and cool. . .obviously, not always! Enjoy your weather, and I can't wait 'till Monday to see the project :)
You should be right in the middle of your bright, happy sun by now. I hope you're outside enjoying it! I can't wait to see what you've been showing us peeks of.
Wow... it's freezing cold, wet and windy here in beautiful Melbourne Australia... great day to stay in and quilt!! Lx
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having a great weekend! More rain here.
ReplyDeleteIt's true. Those who don't live over here really don't understand the value of sunshine!
ReplyDeleteSounds like our climate! Every sunbeam will be counted! So enjoy!
