Hawaii was wonderful! So wonderful in fact that I totally forgot to take photos. It's strange how, when your children are older, photos become less important.
I loved the flowers...
...and took a Hawaiian quilting class
Right now I'm buried under laundry and the garden is a jungle so I may be quiet for the rest of the week.
Check out the sidebar for all the books I read while on vacation. To see what I thought of them, visit my Goodreads bookshelf.

ReplyDeleteWelcome back. Those flowers are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures, you can almost smell the flowers.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog through Belinda's Brown Dirt Cottage. I love her blog and it looks like I've just found another that is right up my alley.
I just LOVE your red/white and blue quilt. You said you were going to wait until fall to quilt it. Are you hand quilting it or machine quilting? I'm machine quilting one right now, and although it's faster, it's not easier, moving all that fabric around the sewing machine. Either way good luck. Can't wait to see it finished. I hope you will give us all a look see when your done.
I would like to invite you to visit my new blog at http://blogmemories.blogspot.com It's called "Making Memories One Stitch at a Time". Hope you'll find time to drop by. Love to see you.
Until next time...~~Fran :c)
