Birdie!

Cleaning has come to a grinding halt over here. A terrible cold bug has me in its grips but I'm sure I'll survive.

Finding these on my doorstep definitely helped.

Birdie Quilt Fabric by Me & My Sister Designs.
I'm in love.
They're in the store now.

I'm back-ish!

Hawaii was wonderful! So wonderful in fact that I totally forgot to take photos. It's strange how, when your children are older, photos become less important.

I loved the flowers...

...and took a Hawaiian quilting class

Right now I'm buried under laundry and the garden is a jungle so I may be quiet for the rest of the week.

I'm glad...

...for Glads.

It's wonderful to be able to go out in the garden and pick these beauties.

Aren't the stems in the vase just lovely too?

I picked a pretty posy

No, the sewing machine is not back! In fact I got the horrible news yesterday that the light switch which is broken is out of stock and will only be in early next week. It looks like another 1-2 weeks without my baby. I'm making calls about borrowing one today. I won't last that long.

So, for today's post I picked a pretty little posy from my early summer garden. I wish you could smell the roses. Simply heavenly!
