The town looks so beautiful and the house looks really cute. Is this a move you're considering or would this be a vacation place?
ReplyDeleteLove the house! If I didn't live here and have so many connections and close children, and being in the country and and and and...Yes!
ReplyDeleteAstoria is fantastic.
Very pretty spot, and the house is cute.
ReplyDeleteJodie
dreamy!
ReplyDeleteyour photos are fantastic! I love the sunset one. I think I need another vacation. :)
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable and Astoria is lovely. Good luck making your decision.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos, I can understand itr calling your name!! Restoring a house is so much fun but yes, a lot of work!! Hope you have no trouble deciding what your future holds!!
ReplyDeleteOh, yep, there is seefood and a trolley, so I’m hooked! Well, that is, if there are some fine fabrics shops too! I love the house, and if you listen carefully, its calling your name and wants to be restored!!
ReplyDeleteOh, you've made my day! We lived in Astoria for a few years when our children were little. Our dear daughter was born while we were there and I would go back in a second. I love that town and the whole area. I would love to have my old house there again. Now I know exactly what I would do with it. It was wonderful then but now I could REALLY do it right. It was a wonderful old house that had been lovingly cared for. There have been some improvements since we lived there and I'd love to live in it again. We had a fantastic view of the Columbia River and the ships and downtown area. I think you would love living there. The people are great and it's a good place to be. That house looks like it could be fantastic. Keep us posted. ~Adrienne~
ReplyDeletedo it!!! that's a dream come true!
ReplyDeleteLooks good to me. I always love living somewhere where there is water. And that house looks good too.
ReplyDeleteOoo, how exciting!
ReplyDeleteyes! do it!
ReplyDelete(and hey, isn't that where goonies were made? i've always wanted to live where the goonies live.)

ReplyDeleteCome. Be one of us!
ReplyDeleteYou're photos are sooooo beautiful! And the weather was so glorious too. I was worried because I washed my car prior to your arrival... so glad I didn't jinx it for you!!!
Crap. YOUR photos not YOU'RE photos.
ReplyDeletebeing a native Oregonian, I can say that Astoria would be a nice place to have a weekend house, but not full time.
ReplyDeleteI don't know, maybe it's because my family is so diverse, we'd just feel so unwelcome there as regulars, you know? It's SOOOOO singular-dimensional.
But a house closer to the beach? I'd love something in Canon!
What an adorable house and town. I'd love to live there.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, it's beautiful. It kind of reminds me of Ireland.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a cute house! Good luck with your decision.
It would look so pretty in July with red, white, and blue bunting. And at Christmas, with a big tree in the front window.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it would be a very lovely place to live!

ReplyDeletelovely little house!
Oh boy, that house would have me tightly by the heartstrings, too. It's beautiful!
