Finish #2 - A Garden Tea Party

I'm on a roll! I actually did the quilting on this one at a retreat a couple of weeks ago, but I struggled with the hanging sleeve and finished the binding a couple of days ago.
This is also the first quilt I've hung on a wall. And I did it without making holes in the wall. Totally removable without a trace. Stay tuned for details on that.

Garden Tea Party
I had lots of fun quilting in the little details.

All in all, a happy little project.

(The pattern is by Lauren & Jessie Jung.  I'm all sold out of them, but I have made a couple of pre-orders available, if you'd like your own little tea party in your house.)

  7. You have given me inspiration for my own project. A few years ago I did a quilt from a picture of my house. I love it but was always afraid of quilting it and ruining it!

I REALLY need to finish it. Your quilt looks wonderful -- how you just quilted each element individually. That is what I need to do.

Take a deep breath and dive right in! LOL

  8. A few years ago I saw how to make these cute bird feeders in a magazine and have wanted to make them myself. I've collected a few cups and saucers and just need to get my (relunctant) husband to make them now. The quilt turned out so cute. Good luck!
