Remember Socksgiving?
Thanks to Jennifer's wonderful coaching I managed to knit a lovely pair of socks back then and then another pair.
And nothing since then.
Now I'm tackling socks again.
As you can see I haven't reached my nemesis (the turning of the heel) yet.
Jennifer, can I have you on speed dial?

ReplyDeleteOh my, those are going to be gorgeous. I've never knit, but it's on my 2009 resolution list already.
ReplyDeleteLove the color. Any chance I can get you to make me a pair? ;)
ReplyDeleteyou are soooo clever!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the color and the pattern! Knitting socks is something I have always wanted to try but am nervous. Maybe I'll give this book a try:)
ReplyDeleteI'm knitting a sock too! Sure, you can call if you run into trouble but you'll do fine. I love that pattern. I have that book but haven't made anything from it yet.
ReplyDeletelove the socks. i am not a sock nut...yet. :) come on over to my cupcake week. everyone is invited.
ReplyDeleteThe color and pattern in the socks is sooooo lovely. I've never made a pair of socks but did knit a Christmas stocking a very long time ago. Knit on, my lady! And good luck with the heel. I'm glad it's you... not me. But then again, you get to own this beautiful pair.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful socks! I think I may have to put that book on my Christmas list.
ReplyDeletethey are looking lovely. I must learn to knit socks!
ReplyDeletethey are absolutely beautiful Anina! The color you chose lends well to the pattern. I guess any color you choose would lend well to that amazing pattern!
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty! So much more girlie than the ones I make. I especially love the soft peach color. I must try my hand at finding a different pattern like this because I am really tired of knitting the same basic beginner's sock. Thanks for the inspiration to try something new, Anina.
ReplyDeletethey look great! i'm about to start on my first pair of toe-up socks ...
ReplyDeleteThose socks are gorgeous! It almost makes me wish I knew how to knit socks! :)
