Wow! The response to my rotary cutter question was AMAZING! Thank you so much! Hopefully all the wonderful responses helped other people with their decisions too.
I think I'll be going with the Olfa Ergonomic cutter since that one got the most votes, but it wasn't an easy decision.
I'm left-handed so having the option of switching the blade to the other side was really important to me.
Here's a glimpse of a little something I'm working on.

Very good choice, I have got one myself!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what you're working on, or what that fabric is, but I LOVE it already.
ReplyDeleteI think you will love the Olfa! I love the Posh fabric you are using, can't wait to see what you will do with it!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice! If I can make one more suggestion, you may want to look at the newest OLFA cutter too, the Quick-Change. The handle is straight but more comfy, and the blades are a snap to change.

Hi Anina,
ReplyDeleteI don't know if anyone told already {sorry, it's just too late to read all the comments of the other post}, but gingher now have released their gorgeous rotary cutter in a lefty version.
I haven't tried it yet, but if I get to a shop that carries them, I'll give them definitely a try.
Bye, Julia
I love the choices of fabric - the colors remind of me spring for some reason ;-)

ReplyDeleteCute fabric. Looking forward to see some more.
ReplyDeleteI'm left handed, too!
ReplyDeleteI've been waiting to read the rotary cutter comments and just got to them. I am left handed and have wanted one of the ones you squeeze but didn't think they were for left handers. I'm thrilled to know I can go out and buy one. Your fabric for you new project is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm already loving the color combos. Can't wait to see the finished product.
