I've been terrible about posting on this blog and commenting on other blogs the last couple of months (or is it years?). Without going into details, let's just say my life is very, very crazy and I feel totally out of control on a regular basis. But...I'm trying to focus and time manage and all the things that will make it better.
So it's with a bit of trepidation that I say, "I'm back".
Part of getting it all back together is sorting and clearing out some of the "stuff" I have around.
There will be a couple of giveaways in the next few weeks.
Up today:
Bright scraps from the making of my Rainbow Jane quilt.
These scraps weigh about a pound, which means it's around 3 yards worth of scraps.
How to enter:
1. Leave a comment over here telling me what you'd do with these little scraps for one entry.
2. Post about the giveaway on your blog, if you have one, then come back here and leave another comment telling me you did so, with a link to your post, for a second entry.
This is a quick giveaway.
Comments will close at 7am PDT on Monday July 2nd and I will draw the winner soon after that.

Beautiful fabrics. I would use them for my "Aunt Millie's Garden" Quilt. I have two blocks done, but have a serious lack of bright colors in my stash, so haven't made any more progress!
ReplyDeleteConsidering the fact that I just shipped out 13lbs of scraps to someone else I should not even enter your giveaway. However (!), I love those bright colors and I don't have anything like them in my scrap bag. I am trying to get away from the standard colors I always seem to use and use more bright colors in my quilting so please throw my name in the hat. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like stars waiting to happen for a baby quilt to me!
ReplyDeleteYes, somebody is here who would love to win your giveaway. I could use this fabric in a variety of ways but a quiilt top would be the way to go for sure. Thanks for the opportunity to win your giveaway.
ReplyDeletePick me! I'd use it in a quilt for my little girl!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I'd make a baby quilt.
ReplyDeleteI would add these beautiful fabrics to my collection of rainbow charms from a few swaps I have entered recently, and make a few awesome rainbow quilts!

ReplyDeleteI love those colours, and I love scraps. Please include me,
ReplyDeleteThank you

ReplyDeleteI'd use them in my calendar quilts. They are so cheerful.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting ready to piece a quilt for my grandson- it will have big blocks and pieced blocks. The scraps would sure look nice as the pieced blocks!!
ReplyDeleteThese would be perfect for a scrappy 60 diamond quilt (I just finished binding my wip quilt last night - next project needed asap). Fingers crossed
ReplyDeleteBright and beautiful fabrics. If I were so lucky as to win, I would use them in my Farmer's Wife quilt blocks. I am still working up my courage to start "That Quilt" ... ;) Pat

Sorry, sorry, something wrong happened with my comment (?)
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say thanks for such a gorgeous giveaway. I'd be THRILLED if being the lucky winner, and would immediately use them in my own Rainbow Dear Jane, as I sometimes have difficulties to find the right jewel tones.
Now crossing my fingers AND toes, HeHee... yet good luck to everyone!

I would love those bright scraps for my scrappy spider web blocks. I've made so many baby and kid quilts in brights in the last few years that my stash is really depleated of brights. Those brights would really "brighten" up my spider webs!
