Why does inspiration always strike when I have a ton of much more important (and boring) stuff to do?
Does this happen to you?
At least I have a reason to fly through those boring bits really quickly now.

It always happens to me... even when I was in school and had a test to study for, it always seemed the perfect time to start a project or clean the house lol
ReplyDeleteYou speak the truth.
ReplyDeleteThe plain and painful truth.
That's my constant state of mind! I have so much to do at work and there I am, daydreaming of fabric or sneaking away to stitch for just a few minutes ...
ReplyDeleteI guess I should find a way to make money out of my passion for sewing, somehow ...
Yes, every day, every hour, all the time, day and night!
ReplyDeleteSo glad I’m not the only one with this handicap!
Oooh, looks yummy! Inspirations always seems to hit me when I'm ready to go to bed, or in a meeting -- in either case, there's no time to act on it!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh yes. I ususally have a new idea whilst looking for stuff for the idea I had 10 ideas ago.
ReplyDeleteI always have the same problem. Too many things to do, and so little time to do fun stuff.
ReplyDeleteNice colors. Will be nice to see what comes out.
Yes! It happens all too often! I applaud you for not giving in and using it as a motivator to help push you through the boring bits. You go! :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty combination of fabrics. I can hear them calling your name!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter tells me I have Crafter's ADD...all the time.
Gorgeous fabrics! I'm not a huge green fan but I'd love those in a quilt! Go for it!
ReplyDeleteThose fabrics are just gorgeous! I can understanding wanting to get straight to using them!!!
ReplyDeleteAmen sister! Then when I do find the time, I have to try and remember what they were. I guess I'll have to keep a note book on me.
ReplyDeleteall...the...time....
ReplyDeleteCompletely understand...love those fabrics!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, that happens way too often. But you know you just roll with it.
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain!!!! Lol!!! Trying to get UFOs done this year, and I am being flooded by my brain with creative ideas. I am keeping a notebook, trying not to buy fabric, and trying not to start any new projects. Except of course the pinwheel quilt a long. We gotta have a little fun right?
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
KT
Yes!All the time!
ReplyDeleteHow very true! Those pretty fabrics are enough to inspire anyone.
ReplyDeleteYes, it happens to me too. I just cleaned my sewing room just so I could avoid a quilt I was struggling with. But cleaning has helped me and I finished that quilt. (Just to get it off my table.)
ReplyDeleteLove these fabrics, they would certainly inspire me. :)
