I started a new project and then quickly managed to put the brakes on it.
I have to stick to my priorities. Really.
I completed and scanned all the Rainbow Jane blocks yesterday. Yay for me!
And I started on the back for Wild Thing this morning.
I have a date to go baste this on a large floor on Tuesday. Nothing like a deadline to get you moving.
I made the letters using Tonya's tutorials.

Yes, priorities. I'm basting something today. I love the pieced name.
ReplyDeleteYipee! You're making yoyos! Mine have been neglected recently, but I'm going to hit them hard after the holidays! Love the green AND the free form name!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute back! Yo yo's? Yikes!
ReplyDeleteI might be a bad influence, but I think you should keep going with the yo-yo's and make the tree! I saw your post, ran out to get the magazine and started making yo-yo's. I love my tree! I just pinned my yo-yo's onto the cone with pretty pins, but I just bought a bunch of buttons, so I might need to add them.
ReplyDeleteYou show admirable self-restraint! That little yo-yo tree looks like such a cute project. :) But priorities are important too (especially when you have deadlines nearing fast!). You will feel so good for having finished those other projects, it will be worth it.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you will be doing with your yo-yo's. But your Rainbow Jane blocks are just to die for, I love everyone of them!! Can't wait to see them all together.
ReplyDeleteYes! Yo-yos! I'm working on a big yo-yo project...my millenium quilt! I'm trying to get it finished by the end of the decade :-)!
ReplyDeletei love the letters! those are on my list to try. the yo yos are CUTE!!!
