Now that the sickies have left (I hope), it's time to get things under control over here.
The last couple of weeks have been hectic and this house is a mess.
I need to clean and organize because on Monday I'm planning to start Jacquie's Joy in the New Year Challenge and get some projects done.
Right now the entire contents of my pantry is on my kitchen counters, however. On Monday we had insulation put in the crawlspace and guess where the access is. Today they're wrapping and sealing the ductwork down there.
Tomorrow I'm hopefully getting a quote to run a gas line to the island so we can get a gas cooktop installed.
I'm also thinking that, while the patry is empty we should put some new flooring in there and paint.
Those kitchen counters may not get cleared for a while...
We have quite a few more fun projects in the works around the house. I'm excited about it all, except for the draining of the bank account that comes along with the fun.
Enough boring chatter.
Here's a little sneak peek at the collection I told you about yesterday.

Good Luck in getting all your projects done. Sounds like fun stuff. I think we're in store for a few ones around our house too. And I love this fabric collection.
ReplyDeleteYep, we too are working on some cleaning out and re-organizing, re-arranging. Guess I better get off of this computer, huh?

Wait a minute! Your house can't be dirty -- you just spent all that time cleaning! We need to do some work in our kitchen too, and I just keep putting it off. Just can't face the attending upheaval. LOVE that new fabric collection!
ReplyDeleteOoh I'd love a gas line put in so I could have a gas stovetop... it's definitely on the list of things I want. Along with a bigger kitchen hehe!

I like the idea of having a gas cooktop in our island too, and new gas logs for the fireplace. Wondering if The Doc would go for it...
ReplyDeletehave fun with your house - it can be a pain in the butt but every now and then we have to do it. I just finished the kitchen and now need to start on the bathroom! a never ending cycle.
