...H1N1 in our house. Now I'm going to have to stay home and sew.
And bake.
(Recipe over here.)
Have I mentioned that I hate the new Blogger editor?
And knit.

Oh - hoping everyone feels better soon! But staying home and sewing sounds pretty fun (minus the sickness of course).
ReplyDeleteYikes! I hope you're all better soon!
ReplyDeleteWe've had different degrees of it here off and on the last month...oldest lost 4 & 1/2 days!
ReplyDeleteSewing, knitting, drinking warm liquids, and resting sound pretty good to me right now!
Virtual chicken soup your way and may all be restored to health soon!
Sorry to hear H1N1 has reached your home. I hope you stay healthy and those in your home, with H1N1 feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime...have fun staying home! If you have any tricks for doctoring up basic cake mixes, to make cupcakes, I'd love to hear your tricks.

Bless you hearts! We've had it here too but not everyone. The first wave was in July and then I had the regular flu acouple of weeks ago. Drink lots of fluids!
ReplyDeleteI don't like the new blogger editor either, I switched right back after trying it. The photos aren't staying where they're supposed to, it's a nightmare!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope everyone is feeling better soon - great excuse to do some baking and knitting though! :)
ReplyDeleteJoin he club. Hoping you and your family get better soon. The bread look delicious!!

Yes, we had it here about 6 weeks ago... all the kids plus me and dad... it was... interesting. Hope you feel better soon and the banana bread photo is mouth watering!
ReplyDeleteHope you will all be feeling healthy again soon. Take care!
ReplyDeleteYou can switch back to the old Blogger editor, that's what I did.
Ugh! I'm sorry that it has caught your house!! We've got sickly ones here. 2 of the 3 kiddies are sick.
ReplyDeleteThat banana bread looks YUM! Guess what I'm going to buy when I go to the store this weekend? Mmmmmm!
Oh dear, I hope no one in your house has it! Good idea to bake and knit! That would definitely make me feel better.
ReplyDeleteI got the H1N1 last week, and was sick the entire week.... I live in NH and work in a middle school and an elementary school.... I was destined to get it since the vaccine is so scarce right now.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon!!

Hope you are on the mend soon! Keep warm, plenty of fluids and lots of sewing :o)
ReplyDeleteSorry you are sick, I hate the new blogger editor also.
ReplyDeleteI pop over here every now and then and I noticed you wanted a tutorial for a cathedral window. You can find one here. Enjoy..

Sorry about the touch of flu...but hope it is all fun in the end!!
ReplyDeleteIs it you or one of the guys? I hope you all are feeling well very soon. Make sure you get lots of rest between the sewing and knitting.
ReplyDeleteYikes... sliding virtual homemade chicken soup through the monitor for y'all...
ReplyDeleteHUGS!
I saw your post below about a cathedral window. My mother who passed away when I was 12 left me her queen sized cathedral window in her will. It was basically the only nice thing she could leave me. I treasure it like nothing I've ever owned. I think you should go for a big one. What if it's the only one you make? Your posterity would appreciate it just as I do mine. Anyways, thought I would share my ideas on your project. Maybe I'll tackled one myself someday but I'm not one to jump on a completely hand sewn project.
ReplyDeleteTake care! I hope you're all back to good health in no time.
ReplyDeletewhat are you knitting???
