I'm a little late to the party, but I'm jumping into the parade of quilts.
This is something Carrie and Camille have going but I think it ends tomorrow.
My first quilt, circa 1999.
Machine pieced and hand quilted.
It's very "country", but I'm still quite proud of it. It also taught me that hand quilting is not my cup of tea.
My latest quilt - the one I made for the Spring Fling pattern.
Way back in April.
I need to step it up.

Your first quilt is so lovely. I especially love those trees. Looks like a fun project. And your most recent quilt is fabulous! I love how the different shades of colors move in each block, and how they pop with the white all around.

ReplyDeleteHi Anina ~ All that applique AND hand-quilting? Wow! I would be impressed even if that wasn't your first quilt! But since it is, I'm floored!
ReplyDeleteI love the Spring Fling quilt too, it's a "happy quilt". And I absolutely the love the scrap binding, it's the perfect finish.

Your first quilt is adorable. It has a reference to the Geese in the Forest quilt! Handquilting, you love it or you don‘t.

I am so amazed that you hand quilted your first quilt and continued to quilt! It's a wonderful quilt.
