For the Virtual Quilting Bee.
Melissa sent the yellow fabric. Her theme is trees.
I had a hard time incorporating it without adding all kinds of fall oranges which would not have worked with the other fabrics she sent out.
I'm quite happy with these little trees.

This is so adorable. You are moving foundation piecing back higher on my (enormous) list of things to try. When I have time. Which may not be until February at this point! But thanks for inspiring me!
ReplyDeleteGosh - paper pieced blocks are so precise and the points are always so perfect. Some day I will actually try to do it myself. Adorable block!

ReplyDeleteI love the polka dot trees. That is so nice. (I was going to say cute, but I sometime think that word is over used).
ReplyDeleteI just finished a block of the month block for our quilt guild and it was paper pieced. I agree that the points are so perfect etc..etc..etc.. but I found it's not for the feint of heart. Maybe it was just the paper I used, but I had a few words for that paper as I was trying to remove it.(*LOL*)
But in all honesty you can't beat it for perfection, and your block is perfect.
