I hope I'm not boring you...
If you're a reader, have a look at this site. Monica sent me an invite and it's great to be able to keep track of books read and have a list of to-reads.
Today I'm going on a very special shopping trip with someone. Fun!

ReplyDelete1st is that I *love* that top fabric!!! Where'd ya get it at? I'd love to do some baby quilts with that....
2nd is to have fun with Chara! (I hope it doesn't snow on y'all!)
your quilt is gonna be so great! and have fun shopping!!!
ReplyDeleteYour scrappy quilt(s?) are going to be lovely. That is a great way of using all the fabric we buy. And you're not nuts, you're smart! Nuts is wasting things including money. And I'm too guilty of that.
ReplyDeleteThe making of a yummy quilt! You.. nuts? No way! Economical, is that the right word? I guess so.
ReplyDeleteHave loads of fun shopping with Chara!
Shoot! I never thought you were nuts! I loved your post about the dog biscuits and the home made detergent. I think any practical person would be interested in saving money during this squeeze.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, I would like to mentionin your post in my own blog in the near future. Is that okay with you?
I keep peeking at "good reads" but I'm having enough trouble keeping up with my blogging. I do keep a notebook next to my computer with my books read, authors, etc. so I can refer to them how and then.
ReplyDeleteHave fun shopping!!
Joni
Cant wait to see your scrappy quilt. I think these are my favorites:)
ReplyDeleteHow has the laundry detergent been working? I am very curious to find out as I have been reading up on this as a way to cut cost. We are trying to save where we can too.
Thanks for the link to Goodreads. I will have to think about it for a bit since the idea of having something else out there to keep up with seems overwhelming! But it is a nice idea. And I don't think being frugal and economical is nuts at all! It's a great benefit to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteThe "scraps" look wonderful. What are they going to turn into? They have me on the edge of my seat.
ReplyDeleteIf you are nuts so am I, when my twins were little I too made my own detergent. It was much cheaper and laundry for 6 is a lot of laundry. I don't make it anymore because I just don't have time now that I am a working fulltime and trying to get my BA. I miss those days though!
