I'm a little late to the party, but here's my entry.
This quilt is HARD to photograph!
I've been trying to get a cover shot for the pattern I'll be publishing but so far it's been close to impossible.
Anyhow, here she is!

Wee Woodland loveliness!
Wow, it’s so beautiful Anina! Black is difficult to photograph, cause it absrbs all the light, but I can see the quilting and I love it!
ReplyDeleteLove the graphic pinwheels, black makes for such interesting quilts.
ReplyDeleteThis quilt does make my b/w & pink mini look very tiny though.
Thanks for sharing and sponsoring-that snail fabric is too cute.
This one just jumps of my screen, it's striking!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! Great colors!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love this quilt and I can't wait until you have the pattern available! It's always hard to capture the beauty of things that are predominantly black but the contrast is worth all the trouble!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!

This is one of the most beautiful quilts, Anina! I love the black background and splashes of color popping off. The quilting looks perfect for this pattern too - very clean and modern. You must be so proud of this one! BTW, thanks for being a sponsor for the Festival!
ReplyDeleteThat is a smashing quilt Anina! I wish I would have had time to join in on this one. Thanks for being a sponsor of the quilt festival too!

Love it, and my two pinwheel party quilts are awaiting sashing. I am up to my eyeballs with other projects. Maybe after Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the black back ground, makes all the colors pop.
ReplyDeleteAnina, it will be difficult to photograph, but you can see the padding and has been wonderful. The coloring is amazing, I love it. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteI use a translator.
You could put a translator in your blog ... would be easier to understand.
Dear Anina,
ReplyDeletePlease don't take the instructions off your blog yet. I have to do the last 4 blocks and put my quilt together.

ReplyDeleteI love it! It is so cool the way the colors pop off of the black.
ReplyDeleteBE-U-TI-FUL quilt. Truly!
ReplyDeleteThis is a striking quilt! Very cool:)
ReplyDeleteTHE CONTRAST IS AMAZING !!!
ReplyDeleteOh, your pinwheel party looks fantastic all quilted. I have to tell you that I started following your blog about a year ago when you first started this. I followed along and made one too. But with my old sewing machine it was more like fighting than fun.
ReplyDeleteI finally have a new sewing machine and I hope to try it again. Pinwheels are one of my favorite things.
I popped in every so often to watch the quilts progress. Very dramatic looking.
ReplyDeleteIt's a stunning quilt. The bright spot fabric works so well against the black. Wonderful quilting too.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! The quilting on this is just gorgeous, Anina! You did an amazing job. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, Anina! The quilting on this is just stunning! And with those bright colors and black background the quilt looks so modern and cool. Beautiful job! (Thanks so much for sharing your amazing design in the quilt along!) :)
ReplyDeleteI am really way late to this party, but just had to say what a fabulous quilt this is. Not sure if my eyes will still handle a black background, but this is totally the quilt I am going to make for my eight year old grandson. it may end up with a white background. Thanks so much for sharing.
