I'm a little late to the party, but I'm jumping into the parade of quilts.
This is something Carrie and Camille have going but I think it ends tomorrow.
My first quilt, circa 1999.
Machine pieced and hand quilted.
It's very "country", but I'm still quite proud of it. It also taught me that hand quilting is not my cup of tea.
My latest quilt - the one I made for the Spring Fling pattern.
Way back in April.
I need to step it up.

I love both! Don't worry, I just posted my first and latest quilts too...
~Molly :)
Your first quilt is so lovely. I especially love those trees. Looks like a fun project. And your most recent quilt is fabulous! I love how the different shades of colors move in each block, and how they pop with the white all around.
Both gorgeous quilt - it's nice to keep your first!
Hugs - Lurline♥

THAT was your 1st quilt???
it's amazing.
and i think i've already told you that i heart your spring fling quilt.

Hand quilted?! Zowie Zowie
Hi Anina ~ All that applique AND hand-quilting? Wow! I would be impressed even if that wasn't your first quilt! But since it is, I'm floored!
I love the Spring Fling quilt too, it's a "happy quilt". And I absolutely the love the scrap binding, it's the perfect finish.
Thank you for sharing your quilts!
Your first quilt is adorable. It has a reference to the Geese in the Forest quilt! Handquilting, you love it or you don‘t.
The Spring Fling quilt is fantabulous as I told before!
What pretty quilts!
Both your quilts are stunning. I can't believe that is you first. Awesome.
Good grief Anina! That is the most gorgeous "first quilt" I've ever seen....looks nothing like a first quilt at all! It looks like a well seasoned pro. Very nice!
that looks like an ambitious first quilt! it looks great!
i also learned after my first couple quilts that hand quilting isn't for me either.
I am so amazed that you hand quilted your first quilt and continued to quilt! It's a wonderful quilt.
Anina, this is really fun quilt and my favorite type -- country. When I first scrolled down and saw the photo, I thought, "WOW! She has a quilted chair. I wish I could learn to upholster one too!!"
I am still working away on my Dear Jane. You are such a good teacher and motivator.
I love your newest one. Very sherbert-y.
i think i need to echo what you commented on my post...isn't it amazing how our tastes change? :) both of your quilts are beautiful!
Wow that is an amazing first quilt. I'm not surprised though. Your quilts are all quality. Some people's first quilts are laughable. I know mine is!
Your first quilt is great - lots of quilting skills learned on that one! and Spring Fling is still on my to do list. Love your work.
