More from Houston

On Wednesday I took a full day class from Jean Wells (yes THE Jean Wells!). For those of you who are not familiar with Jean, she owns The Stitchin' Post in Sisters, Oregon with her daughter Valori Wells (the fabric designer). They put on the lovely outdoor quilt show in Sisters each year. She is also an amazing quilt artist.

It was a wonderful class! I'm so inspired.

  1. If I didn't feel like am amerature before, I certainly do now. Can't *wait* until I'm done putting my office back together so that I can pull my sewing machine back out!

I'm loving that green one though. VERY awesome looking...

  5. Someone sent me a link to your blog spot and I was so flattered to see your lovely pictures of my work. I am so glad you liked the class, now I am trying to figure out which student you were. I do have pictures of all of the student work so tell me which was yours. Keep in touch with your work so I can see what you do.

  11. I love Jean's work too! I went to the show in Sisters this year and it was AMAZING! If you have never been mark your calendar and go! You would LOVE their store, it is the BEST! There was one amazing quilt there that she did of a tree stump that was STUNNING! I will have to find the pic and e-mail it to you. What did you make in her class?
