Wow, it's lovely, and only 25 hours? I think I'd still be working on it 250 hours later! Can you embroider an eye or is that cheating in Baltimore quilts?

Looks fantastic! I've had better luck with needle turn than yo-yos when the circles are pencil eraser size. And there's always satin stitch.
Well done! That's the thing about hand applique, it requires time, lots and lots of time. But it's such a rewarding feeling in the end. I love it.
LOVE IT! I wish I could hand applique like that. i can't wait to see the next block. :)
What method did you use on the pear stems? That should work for the eye ball.
BTW Your applique is AMAZING!
Beautiful! One of the things on my "bucket list" is to do a Baltimore album quilt. Can't wait to see yours finished!
So beautiful Anina!
To make all sizes of circles you could use a set of Perfect Circles by Karen Kay Buckley. They come in two different sets.
Oh it's gorgeous!! And all backbasted. I'm definitely going to try that.
Wow! I looks great!
I love your bird! Happy Thanksgiving!
Wow! It is beautiful. I don't seem to have the patience to work on hand applique.
Excellent work and I love the fabrics you chose!

Nice job. Boy, it looks great! What about doing a nice satin-stitch circle for the eye?
