Yay!! Looking good. Now, if only my machine would come home from the repair centre, I should absolutely do the same to my ton of scraps...
The certainly do work, but then again, I love those REDS!
They work indeed! Love those red blocks!
You have some beauties there Anina! Wish I had red scraps to play with. I'll have to work on that.
I was going to suggest the mono-color blocks the other day. I've made a few quilts this way with scraps and I love them. You can see them here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mamaurchin/tags/campingquilt/
Gorgeous. And boy howdy...do we all have our share of scraps!
Very pretty! I'm starting a scrappy quilt next week.
You've got no worries. I have no doubt that you are going to make something beautiful.
Good for you! I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. So far, it looks great!
working with scraps just takes a little thought but you can usually turn out some nice things from them.Karenhttp://karensquilting.com/blog/
Yay! I am glad to see you working with scraps you hated. :-)
I think that is what has kept me from working with my scraps up until now. I don't like them much. There is a lot of "old" fabric that I must have bought for some reason but can't remember. I'm working with pink today. From dark burgundy to light pink and I really like the overall look of it even though I don't like most of the fabric. This has been a fun experiment so far.
What do you do with them? Have a giveaway!
Excellent plan! That pile of red does look promising. :)
Those blocks look VERY nice, congrats!
So far so GREAT!!! Way cool. ;o)
"So far so GREAT" I'd say!
