Powder room: 1 hour 20 minutes
Powder Room
Amongst other things:
Washed all the moldings - door frame, window frame, baseboards, door.
Clean baseboards really make a difference. You should try it.
Applied some toothbrush power to areas of the toilet normally impossible to reach.
Windex-ed every shiny surface.

Tip: When crawling around on the floor, wear socks. If not, you may end up with hard to remove red nail polish lines on your floor and very unflattering white tips on your toenails.

  1. Nicely done! I need to clean my bathrooms so hopefully you've inspired me! Haha too funny about the nail polish!

  2. Wow, it must have felt GREAT to do a whole room in 80 minutes after your marathon kitchen cleaning. Thank you so much for posting this series. I'm having a hard time keeping at it as diligently as you are (a four year old and one year old are "helping" me), but I keep telling myself that anything is better than nothing.

  3. Bathrooms are my least favorite. When we get ready for company my husband takes the bathrooms and I do the rest of the house! ;) I think it's a fair trade...

  4. I do as you and periodically go room to room to give a really good cleaning. I am due to doing just that when I get home from my daughters house next week.

  10. I got sick. Forced to take a break. My brain is saying, clean, clean, clean. My lungs, nose and head are saying. Yeah right. But you are cruisin! Everything is looking so good! ;o)

  11. Hubby asked one day what the pink marks on the kitchen floor were and I said I had no idea! He realized it was my toenail polish color and wanted to know how I get hot pink lines on the kitchen floor!! Who knows, it's not like I drag my toes upside down on the floor! My it's hard to scrub off!

    Good job with the bathrooms!
