Wow, thanks!

Your response to my emergency plea was amazing! I love all of you!
Because I had an urgent need to iron, I used the "salt on brown paper" method, which miraculously took most of the gunk off, although it did scratch the surface a little. As soon as I get to the store, I'll buy one of the other amazing products you recommended and take the rest of it off. Stay tuned for the review.

I know you're probably getting a little tired of runners, but I have to make 15 of them by November 11th, so here's another one.

  9. Wow, what a lovely runner. Your machine quilting is not too shabby either. I'm just learning and I can appreciate the effort it takes to get those nice even stitches.

Very happy that your iron is clean again. Try the wax paper trick to make it iron smoother, then you won't even know the scratches are there at all.

Looking forward to more beautiful runners. BTW, just curious, how long do you make your average runner? I just made 2 from a pattern in a quilting magazine I just bought and they seem pretty short compared to yours. If you don't mind sharing that is.
