A break

I've decided to take a blog break.
I was going to write a long and convoluted post about it and even take a photo especially for the post, but that's exactly why I need to take a break.
Blogging is in the wrong spot on my priority list.
Lately I've been feeling out of control and like I'm not giving my life the attention it deserves.

I will be back. I love all the friends I've made through my blog and the wonder of having contact with so many people I can relate to and who can relate to me.

I just have to figure out where it all fits.

  1. Enjoy your break, your family and take time for the big rocks (Kathy’s post...) on your list! I already wondered how you could keep up withthe DBJ blocks and blog and your own blog!
We will be waiting for you.

  3. Uh oh does this mean you won't be leading us in the Dear Jane blocks anymore? I did wonder how you could find time to do all of those tutorials but I certainly have been grateful that you got me going at last on the DJ blocks.

  5. I hope you come back with a ton of finished projects that will continue to "wow" us. You have recently inspired me to quilt, so I don't want to lose you now--but, I definitely know when you need a break. Have a fun sabbatical.

  12. I think that is why my blog gets neglected. I start to post regularly and then it hits me that stuff is not getting done and I am spending too much time on the computer. Enjoy your break!!!

  14. I took a break for 3 weeks and I'm now back feeling ready to go again and inspired. I completely put the computer out of my thoughts and totally relaxed. It was great!! I won't hesitate to take another when needed.

Good luck, enjoy each moment, and relax. Read and go out for lunch.
    Hugs,
    Joni

You continue to inspire me with your creativity. I would love to be able to accomplish at least half of what you seem to be able to...I admire that!

  28. I am another who went through this, last Christmas time, and nearly deleted my blog. I did decide to keep it but I also decided I needed to cut way back on the time I spend on the computer. Take all the time you need to figure it out. Blogging can really be a time drain.

  30. This can be addicting and take over a lot of time. I limit my blogging time to at night. If I get on during the day, I would never get anything done. Enjoy your break. I will be checking back though. Your blog is great.
