The Birthday Goodies

Wow! What cool stuff I got!

You may not hear from me for a l-o-o-o-o-n-g time while I'm buried in wonderful projects.
I also received Brain Age 2 for the Nintendo DS from Josh to help my brain stay young. I started at a brain age of 80 and am now down to 58. Woohoo?
Ooh! And this. No more Google Maps for me.

  1. The only book I don’t have is InStitches. I love the Denyse Schmidt book. I was very disappointed about one book in particular... I really would like to know what’s your favourite!

  5. A glorious assortment of books. Have fun creating. I have just tried out the simple bib pattern from Bend The Rules Sewing. It was very quick and easy to do.

  6. My birthday is next week and I have books on my wish list, too. I have several of the books you received and one of them is on my list.

You will have many happy hours of reading and creating. I need to clean up my 'to do' list so I can start a new one with NEW ideas.
    Happy Birthday to you!

  7. i once got a stack of books like that from amazon - all the way across the ocean! it was so nice - to be able to sit back and read and read and read and then create! let me know what you think of in stitches - i've been thinking of buying it.
    enjoy your reading.

  8. Happy Birthday!
or... er... did I say that already? I've been kind of loopy lately, but I hope I wished you a happy birthday back when you posted on it. Loopy, yup. Brain Age is funny... I think we sound a bit senile when we play, yelling and enunciating every syllable in to the DS lol.

  12. Rad! I can vouch for half of those books and just plain want the other half. However, I just bought fabric for a giant version of one of the DSQ patterns so I guess I'll just work on that a while.
